Private Sessions

Designed for individuals desiring one on one focused coaching and attention, private sessions are the best way to become familiar with Pilates language and your movement. Geared to meet you where you are in your Pilates practice, sessions are specifically designed around your needs and goals. Perfect if you’re recovering from an injury, wanting to progress in your practice or simply want to have an hour of Pilates with a dedicated eye. If you’re new to Pilates, private sessions are especially helpful you’d like to move into equipment classes. Each session makes the most of the studio’s Pilates apparatus including the Reformer, Cadillac, Tower Unit, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, Small Barrel. Mat classes are also incorporated into the sessions.

Semi Private Sessions

Adaptive, unique sessions for two people who partner up by choice or based on their general level of knowledge. The sessions are geared to the goals of the duet and are appropriate for the their level of Pilates practice. If you would like to explore duets and don’t have a partner please contact me.

Reformer Class

A fun and dynamic way to improve strength and flexibility based on your individual needs using Classical Gratz Reformers. Work on balance, alignment, core strength and muscle tone in a flow based, pre defined pace. More dynamic than mat based Pilates, the Reformer adds resistance to Pilates exercises via springs which are part of the machine. Focus is on movement of the spine in flexion, extension, lateral and rotation, core work and challenging movement. If you have an injury or have never done Pilates please contact me to discuss the right strategy to start your Movement Journey. Classes are limited to 2 people.

Tower Class

Energizing class combining the resistance of the tower with precise movements of a mat workout for core stability and flexibility and to lengthen muscles. Gratz and Pilates Designs Tower Units are designed to support your body for proper stabilization and positioning while providing added resistance. Tower classes are limited to two clients per class. Chair /Tower/Strength

Effective, intense workout using the tower, chair and weights. This combination of Pilates equipment challenges your stability and strength. Build core strength, mobility and improve arms, upper body and leg strength. Excellent for skiers, golfers, tennis players and runners and a great way to mix up your “normal” routine. Prior Pilates apparatus experience required.

Men’s Class

Specific training geared towards men’s anatomy and functional movement principles using multiple pieces of equipment and props. Focused on increasing core strength, stability and balance. Perfect for cross training and increasing overall conditioning and flexibility. Please contact me to be added to the wait list for classes.

Equipment Classes

Includes access to reformer, tower and chair classes

First Light Pilates is equipped with Gratz Reformers and Wunda Chairs, Gratz and Pilates Designs Tower Units, Pilates Designs Cadillac, and Large Barrel. Small barrels and Spine Correctors are also available. These pieces of apparatus are accompanied with a variety of props to enhance your workout and create challenge.

mat classes

Designed for the beginner/intermediate levels. Props are used to created deeper connection to the movement. Flow classes move at a quicker pace and don’t require props. Classes requiring props and are noted on the schedule. If you are new to mat pilates please contact me directly for more guidance. I want your experience on the mattobe awesome! Mat classes are available in personor virtual. You can literally join me on the mat from anywhere.
